**Warehouse Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Financial Staff Accountant in Mount Vernon, IN.** #### **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** The Financial Staff Accountant duties will include and are not limited to the managing of the following areas: * Preparing journal entries * Reconciling general ledger accounts * Assist in month end closing * Assist in preparation of financial statements * Analyzing and identifying issues with cost center profitability * Preparing cost center budgets and tracking differences with actual cost * Recording asset purchases for depreciation, asset tracking and return on asset analysis * Providing financial analysis help to management * This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed in this position; they are only the major duties. * Reconcile bank accounts and other various accounts monthly * Files tax forms with local government agencies, federal and state * Meet reporting deadlines monthly * Prepare documents for external auditors #### **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience * Strong analytical skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Atte...
