Please check our** **residency definition** **to determine if you qualify.** **What You Will Be Doing:** * Serve as the lead auditor for either the Charitable Gaming \& Excise Taxes group or the Fisheries \& Special Taxes group, conducting audits and audit reviews to ensure compliance with Alaska tax laws. * Promote voluntary compliance through audits, compliance projects, taxpayer outreach, regulatory interpretation, and clear communication with taxpayers and stakeholders. * Mentor, train, and review the work of auditors and tax technicians while providing technical guidance on statutes, regulations, audit procedures, licensing, bonding, and tax program requirements. * Support the group supervisor in managing assigned tax programs, including system testing, form development, licensing, training development, technical support, and preparation of regulatory and policy gui...
