**Position: Power Electronics Engineer** **Location:** Bohemia, NY **Responsibilities** * Analyze, model, simulate, design, and develop switch\-mode power supplies ranging from 10W to 2000W, from initial concept and circuit design through prototyping, testing, validation, and production. * Design and develop cost\-effective, high\-performance AC/DC power conversion circuits for next\-generation power supply products. * Design and develop single\-phase and polyphase, high\-frequency, offline switch\-mode converters and inverters for desktop computing, server, telecommunications, and motor drive applications. * Optimize power supply designs for conversion efficiency, power density, reliability, thermal performance, and overall cost. * Perform circuit simulations and design calculations using PSpice, Mathcad, and other engineering tools to evaluate circuit performance and validate design concepts. * Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and root\-cause analysis to identify design issues and implement corrective actions. * Evaluate component selection, circuit topologies, and design trade\-offs to meet product performance, safety, and reliability requirements. * Collaborate with...
