**Overview:** Westfield Development Company, Inc. is a privately\-owned, real estate development and investment company. We acquire, develop, and manage a portfolio of properties across multiple asset classes, including industrial, office, and mixed use. Westfield has been operating in the Denver and Colorado front range market for approximately 30 years and has completed over 30 investments. Westfield is looking for a Real Estate Accountant to be an integral part of the accounting team. This role reports to the VP of Accounting and will be responsible for financial reporting and accounting for several of the company’s operating and development properties. This is a 100% in\-office position located in Westfield’s office at 4221 Brighton Blvd in Denver. **Essential Responsibilities for Assigned Properties:** * Produce monthly accrual\-basis financial statements and supporting schedules, in digital format for 7\-10 assigned properties/ * Prepare quarterly GAAP financial statements for selected properties. * Assist property manager with preparation of tenant operating cost estimates and reconciliations. * Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, record monthly journal entries. * Pr...
