**Project Engineer \- Heavy Civil Construction** **General Summary:** The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and construction projects from pre\-construction through completion. This role assists in estimating project scope, coordinating schedules, managing material flow, and supporting project financial performance. The Project Engineer works closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. Projects may include work for NCDOT, municipalities, and commercial clients. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Project Manager role within a construction environment. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, with extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed based on project demands.
