Job Description HTS Tax Service is hiring experienced Remote Tax Preparers for the 2027 tax filing season. We are looking for tax professionals who already have hands\-on tax preparation experience and are comfortable working independently with clients. This is not an entry\-level tax training position. Candidates should have prior experience preparing individual federal and state income tax returns. Experience with Schedule C/self\-employed clients, business returns, bookkeeping, or more complex returns is highly valued. Responsibilities \& Qualifications: ● Prepare accurate federal and state individual income tax returns ● Prior professional tax preparation experience required ● Active PTIN or ability to obtain/renew PTIN before tax season ● Knowledge of Form 1040, filing status, dependents, tax credits, deductions, and IRS due\-diligence requirements ● Schedule C/self\-employment experience preferred ● Business\-return experience (1065, 1120\-S, 1120\) is a plus ● Communicate professionally with clients and obtain necessary tax documentation ● Comfortable learning and working in HTS\-designated tax software ● Ability to work independently in a remote environment ● Must provide y...
