**Overview** The Controller will be responsible for managing the day\-to\-day accounting functions of the company while ensuring that financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date. This position will work closely with ownership and management to oversee cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll reporting, bank reconciliations, financial statements, and overall accounting procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced with **QuickBooks**, comfortable working in a construction or service\-based environment, and capable of independently reviewing financial activity and identifying discrepancies. **Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee daily accounting operations * Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable * Review and properly categorize company expenses and transactions * Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations * Monitor customer payments, deposits, progress payments, and outstanding balances * Process and track vendor bills, payments, credits, and subcontractor expenses * Review the General Ledger for accuracy and resolve discrepancies * Prepare and review Profit \& Loss ...
