#### Manages the activities of and assists in establishing the goals of the Accounting Department for HDH, PSC, HDH Foundation, and Highland Joint Township District Hospital Foundation. Prepares monthly financial statements and analysis, required governmental filings and assists in development of annual budgets. * Prepares monthly financial statements including related statistics and analytical schedules in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. * Establishes and monitors systems of internal control. * Reviews and/or prepares general ledger account reconciliations. * Reviews and/or prepares monthly journal entries. * Develops and maintains processes to accurately account for bad debt reserves and third\-party contractual allowances. * Prepares required federal, state and local tax returns. * Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and provides support to department managers. * Assists/Prepares analysis of departmental financials as needed. * Develops supporting information for the annual HCAP, Medicare, and Medicaid cost reports. * Manages the support for the annual independent audit. * Protects confidentiality and privacy...
