*This is a hybrid position, with the expectation of being on\-site at our Chantilly, VA office 3\-4 times a week.* The Optiv \+ ClearShark Federal Controller directs all accounting functions including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives, and preparation of financial reports. This position reports to the Optiv \+ ClearShark President with indirect reporting to the Optiv Finance leadership team. **How you’ll make an impact** * Oversee the operations of the accounting, finance, and related functions. * Responsible for building and developing accounting policies and procedures. * Oversight of month\-end close process, including review of reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, and identification and research of accounting issues. * Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance to management. * Oversee payments of all accounts. * Monitor working capital and funding balances. * Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of company divisions. * Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget * Manage the preparation of the financial statements and notes thereto * Manage the external ...
