Description: The spot welder operator is responsible for setting up and safely operating spot weld machines, and to spot weld metal parts, components or assemblies. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Operate spotwelder (single/multi\-head) * Ensure equipment is set up properly according to specifications * Check and test welds * Clean tips when necessary * Complete coupon tests after every tip change * Complete all paperwork and data entry as required * Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Hand or Supervisor * Produce quality welds as per drawings/work instructions and customer requirements * Follow work instructions, read drawings and maintain standard times * Check and test welds as per department procedures and quality standards * General housekeeping and day to day tool maintenance to ensure equipment is working properly * Complete all paperwork and data entry as required * Follow all ISO procedures and maintain quality standards * Follow all safety procedures and policies * Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Lead Hand Requirements: * High school diploma or GED is required. * P...
