The role ensures finished goods and raw materials arrive on time and at quality from all external vendors, in support of the production plan and inventory targets. The manager analyzes inventory data, forecasts inventory needs, manages inventory levels, and works with other departments to streamline inventory processes. The role cuts cost and waste and keeps the right products and materials available when needed. The manager reports directly to the Director of Operations and leads a team of Purchasing Agents and a Buyer.
