**General Responsibilities:** Assist the Vice President of Finance in administering the Credit Union’s financial resources and accounting activities. Coordinate day\-to\-day accounting functions, provide financial analysis and reporting, and supervise assigned finance department staff. Recommend and implement improvements that support the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of finance department operations. **Description of Duties:** 1\. Performance Management and Training a. Assist with finance department service standards training b. Coordinate training requirements for existing and newly hired finance department staff c. Assist with department training sessions as necessary d. Facilitate Quality Service Group meetings as assigned and assist in determining topics 2\. Accounting and Records Maintenance a. Monitor general ledger maintenance and recommend necessary adjustments b. Assist in determining appropriate vault cash levels c. Review and reconcile bank and general ledger accounts d.
