**JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN ANIMAL SERVICES EDUCATION \& OUTREACH COORDINATOR** Under limited supervision of the department Assistant Director, formulates and directs the department's public relations, humane education, special events and marketing programs to ensure the fulfillment of the organization's mission. Responsible for generating strong public awareness of the department through press releases, interaction with the media, marketing messages and programs, public displays and public speaking appearances. Responsible for curriculum development for humane education programming for a variety of venues and targeted audiences. Supervises the work of assistants and volunteers in achieving departmental objectives and goals. Coordinates promotional tours, conferences, and other associated activities. Responsible for scheduling, planning, coordinating and carrying out all special events.
