**Summary of Duties:** * Be able to perform CPR as needed. * Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriate information. * Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of the patients. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests. * Labels and maintains proper storage for specimens and tests. Delivers tests and obtains results. * Cleans exam rooms appropriately between patients and at the end of each clinic. * Provides care to patients under the direct supervision of the physician, and as directed by standing protocols. * Communicates physician’s instructions to patients. * Observes, documents, and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Dispenses prescriptions/medication as directed. * Enters patient data with reliable accuracy and in accordance with established protocol. * Assists providers in completing medical records concerning medical history, diagnosis, prognosis, and current treatment plans.
