Description

Under the direction of the Asst Controller Accounting \& Finance, the incumbent's responsibilities include activities/processes related to completing entry level accounting tasks including but not limited to: weekly bank deposits, treasury wires, balance sheet reconciliations, abandoned property activity, fixed asset transactions, monthly closing process and maintaining financial records of MPTN and its related enterprises. Additional responsibilities include financial reporting, analysis and reconciliation of various financial accounts in accordance with established reporting systems, assist with preparation of personal property \& sales tax returns and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information provided to management. Associate’s degree is required, with a desire for focus in Accounting or Finance. A minimum of one (1\) years work experience in a financial environment is a plus. Experience in large ERP systems, including Oracle, is a plus. Experience cash handling, managing a budget, or demonstrated interest in financial planning and accounting may serve as a substitute for educational experience.
