**Overview** **Department:** Private Fleet (Final Mile) **Location:** Jessup, MD **Salary:** $75,000/year \- $85,000/year **Overview** The Transportation Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the transportation team, including managing a site’s Private Fleet, managing relationships with third\-party logistics providers, ensuring exceptional customer service through regular customer visits, and actively supporting business growth by generating and sharing sales leads with the sales team. Position maintains the oversight of all delivery service metrics in their market and contributes to the continuous improvement of transportation functions. May be required to perform day\-to\-day activities such as covering delivery routes, handling packages (up to 75lb), moving equipment/vehicles, etc. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Lead, coach, and develop a high\-performing Delivery Services Team to achieve operational excellence, while ensuring compliance with all Supply Chain SOPs and safety standards.
