Lord of Life Lutheran Church FINANCIAL MANAGER POSITION OBJECTIVE The Financial Manager is responsible for accounting, payroll and on\-going money management for this congregation. PRINCIPAL DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES o Manage bookkeeping, accounts payable and account receivable o Process payroll biweekly and maintain payroll records o Maintain and complete monthly financial reports o Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations o Maintain accurate and organized financial records o Collaborate with leadership staff on cash flow management o Facilitate preparation of annual Mission Spending Plan o Support audit preparation by gathering requested records and coordinating document submission o Ensure annual review of accounting/payroll records is conducted by an independent party o Other duties as necessary QUALIFICATIONS o Prior experience in bookkeeping, finance, related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience o Proficiency in Excel and other accounting or payroll software o Strong organizational and time\-management skills with attention to detail o Comfortable working independently and handling confidential information COMPENSATION $30\....
