**Position Overview** We are hiring a dependable and skilled Medical Assistant to provide quality support to patients and clinical staff. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient experience and excellent patient care skills. **Responsibilities** * Room patients and obtain vital signs, height, weight, and pulse oximetry. * Assist with examinations and clinical procedures. * Perform injections, immunizations, specimen collection, and venipuncture. * Perform blood glucose and urine testing. * Assist with Pap smears, suture removal, and nebulizer treatments. * Document patient history, medications, and allergies. * Handle patient calls, pharmacy calls, refill requests, and authorization forms. **Requirements** * MA Certification required: AAMA, AMT, NHA, ARMA, NCCT, or NRCMA. * BLS required. * Minimum 2 years of MA experience required. * General medicine, family practice, or internal medicine experience preferred. * Cerner experience preferred. * Must be fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
