Overview: The Test Facilities Operation, Maintenance and Engineering (TFOME) contract at the NASA Glenn Research Center, Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio is searching for a Procurement Quality Control Specialist to provide procurement, logistics, inventory management support, and quality control oversight. Responsibilities: * Supports and facilitates activities relating to procurement, logistics, inventory, and quality control. * Assists with procurement to expedite the process of getting information from vendors. * Works with engineers to get Purchase Requisitions (PRs) submitted quickly. * Works with vendors, engineers, and buyers to review quotes ensuring they meet all specifications. * Performs technical writing and ensures the quality, accuracy, and integrity of all technical documentation, reports, and deliverables comply with NASA standards, project plans, and policies. * Responsible for maintaining building access records and tracking access requests. * Coordinates logistics, such as, movement of equipment within or between facilities and maintenance of hardware records including flight hardware, engineering unit hardware, test hardware, tools, and supplies...
