The Sr Information Security Analyst will analyze and monitor the organization’s cybersecurity measures; respond to actual penetration attempts by malicious hackers. **This position will be located in Springfield MO, Remote work is not an optio**n Responsibilities and Duties: Lead the continuous monitoring and tuning of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms to detect, investigate, and respond to advanced persistent threats and emerging attack vectors. Perform advanced log correlation and forensic analysis across multiple systems, identifying complex threats and initiating appropriate mitigation strategies. Serve as an escalation point for complex security incidents, overseeing end\-to\-end incident response including investigation, containment, eradication, and post\-incident review. Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, tabletop exercises, and threat simulations to improve the organization's detection and response capabilities. Drive continuous improvements in security monitoring and detection by identifying SIEM content gaps, recommending new use cases, and integrating threat intelligence feeds.
