### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Days, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 30, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is seeking a Behavioral Health RN with psych and medical\-surgical experience for a day\-shift assignment requiring an AZ or compact RN license. ### **Details** * Behavioral Health unit caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients * Patient ratio of 1:12 with tech assistance * Day shift schedule, 3x12\-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM * Required to float PRN to three facilities within 24 miles of the main location (Mesa, Roosevelt, Maryvale) * Must be willing to float down to Behavioral Health Technician role PRN * Required to work 1 weekend shift per week (Friday not considered a weekend day) * No on\-call requirements ### **Requirements** * Active AZ or compact RN license required * Current BLS certification required * Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience required * Minimum 1 year of medical\-surgical experience within the last 5 years required (cannot be float experience) * Skilled in tube feedings, NG tube insertion/maintenance, Foley catheter insertion/maintenance, and IV starts/mainten...
