**Position Summary** -------------------- The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all logistics activities supporting the STERIS Instrument Management Services (IMS) repair business. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, this role is accountable for both external transportation management and internal logistics execution to ensure the efficient movement of customer\-owned surgical instruments, repair components, consumables, and materials throughout the IMS repair network. It will support facilities in Birmingham, Chesterfield, MO, Keller, TX, Lenexa, KS, Stow OH and Fort Laurderdale, FL. Externally, the position manages transportation providers, customer asset transportation, supplier logistics, freight and packaging expenses, and domestic and international shipping activities. The role serves as the IMS subject matter expert for transportation compliance, customs requirements, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications, duties, tariffs, import/export requirements, and carrier performance management.
