**Job Summary** --------------- Develops and maintains technical expertise in IFRS and GAAP financial reporting for Farmers Group, Inc, monitors and implements needed changes to reporting requirements, prepares or reviews various disclosures, exhibits and schedules included in the annual and quarterly FGI financial statements, prepares and/or reviews analysis for management, and leads special projects. **Essential Job Functions** --------------------------- •Develops and maintains expertise in IFRS and various government reporting requirements. •Monitors changes to reporting requirements and recommends and implements changes. •Prepares and reviews various quarterly and annual financial statements, schedules, exhibits, and disclosures. •Analyzes financial performance compared to plan and prepares reports to management. •Provides financial reporting training and development to FAR staff. •Coordinates the quarterly and annual close schedules. •Manages the calculation and posting of quarterly ZIM entries. •Coordinates the preparation and release quarterly and annual FGI financial statements. •Manages the preparation of new accounts, closing of the current month and various projects for...
