### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 2, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level I Trauma Center night shift position requiring prior urban trauma experience and an active IL RN license. ### **Details** * Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department treating combined adult/pediatric patients * Patient ratio of 1:4 * Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00\-07:30\) * Every other weekend required * Floating required * Epic EMR used for charting ### **Requirements** * Active IL RN license required in hand * Minimum 1\-2 years of ER nursing experience required * Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required * Teaching hospital experience preferred * Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS * Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI * Experience with trauma care including gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations * Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and 12\-lead EKG interpretation * Experience managing psychiatric and behavioral health emergencies * Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and emergency medication administration * Exp...
