OVERVIEW: Merrick is seeking an On\-Call **Senior Pipe Stress Engineer I** to join our Energy, Manufacturing \& Bioprocessing Business Unit. **This position will is located in our Greenwood Village, CO office. A hybrid work schedule may be supported, and fully remote candidates will be considered.** WHAT YOU'LL DO: * As an On\-Call Senior Pipe Stress Engineer with our Energy, Manufacturing \& Bioprocessing team, you will work in a dynamic multi\-discipline environment with other engineering and technical personnel to ensure overall project goals are met. * Performs and documents engineering calculations related to mechanical engineering for the purpose of selecting code compliant systems and equipment. * Ensures mechanical activities follow QA procedures. * Performs pipe stress analysis utilizing software such as CAESAR II, NozzlePro, etc. * Works with the project team to design a cohesive, technically acceptable, and optimized piping system. * Performs detailed reviews of piping isometrics, piping plans, pipe specifications, P\&IDs, pipe stress analysis completed by others and other design documents. * Mentor other mechanical engineers and designers.
