Overview: MicroTech seeks a Database Engineer to engineer, administer, and sustain large\-scale, highly available DoD healthcare databases supporting the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission. This key position supports database reliability, performance, integrity, and recovery. Responsibilities: * Engineer and administer database environments supporting military healthcare applications. * Monitor performance, troubleshoot database issues, and optimize resource utilization. * Implement and validate backup, recovery, and high\-availability capabilities. * Manage approved database changes, access controls, and data migration activities. * Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams and maintain database configuration and recovery documentation. * Experience managing large\-scale, highly available DoD healthcare databases. * Ability to support database performance, availability, data integrity, and recovery. * Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the Synchronized Pre\-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host\-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility.
