Overview: **ABOUT THE POSITION** VHB’s Bedford, NH office is seeking an entry level Site Civil Engineer to support our Land Engineering practice. **Responsibilities*** Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans, reports, and specifications for a multitude of land development projects. * Provide civil engineering services for retail, residential, institutional, renewable energy, municipal, and industrial site design, including site layout, grading and drainage design, and utility design. * Preparation and/or reviewing design criteria, drawings, and specifications. * Compilation of stormwater management reports, including hydrologic modeling and pipe sizing. * Assist in the preparation of due diligence, permitting, design, and construction documents * Technical report writing * Attending meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues * Attend site visits during the course of the project **Skills and Attributes*** Ability to think critically and creatively in a team\-focused environment * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * AutoCAD, HydroCAD, ...
