**THE ROLE:** **Project Engineer** **LOCATION:** Waukesha, WI **REPORTS TO:** Sr. Director, Engineering **POSITION TYPE:** Full\-time, Exempt **OUR OPPORTUNITY:** Responsible for designing, overseeing, and coordinating engineering on all projects, including complex for custom access, ladders, and work platforms. Provides technical support to the sales department, manufacturing, and customers. Work closely with cross\-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and safety. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:** * **Design** and check work platforms/structures for proper design and code (building) compliance to ensure a safe structure. Modify or create AutoCAD drawings as necessary to design process. * **Check** AutoCAD approval drawings for proper design of work platforms/structures and conformance to customers' requests. * **Review** returned approval drawings from customer for any requested changes that affect design, structural integrity and cost. * **Discuss** and coordinate projects with sales, other departments and customers.
