Our team encompasses technology, experience, people and knowledge to provide effective and efficient customized freight solutions. **Job Summary and Responsibilities**: Under the direction of the CFO, the Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements. The Staff Accountant will perform journal entries, organize and update financial reports and will support the accounting department in carrying out these responsibilities to meet financial deadlines. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES* Reconciliations: Perform daily bank and intercompany reconciliations, along with weekly credit card reconciliations * Month\-End Close: Prepare journal entries, update general ledger, account reconciliations, analysis and compilation of monthly reporting * Budget/Forecast: Assist with the yearly budget process and quarterly forecast as needed * Year End Review: Assist outside accounting firm with annual review and tax compliance including 1099 reporting * Communicate regularly with individuals i...
