Posting Details The Law Enforcement Records Bureau (LERB) gathers, preserves, and disseminates criminal justice data in support of public safety. Through state and federal partnerships, LERB serves as the state's official repository for millions of fingerprint records and criminal history records. The bureau functions at a high operational tempo with large volumes of data, records, and modernization projects. Major programs include the Missing Persons, Concealed Carry, Sex Offender Registration, and support to vital law enforcement databases such as NCIC, Triple I, and NIBRS. While administrative in nature, LERB is not a traditional records bureau due to its operational impact and oversight of New Mexico's public safety records, data, and intelligence sharing infrastructure.
