**Location: Portland, Maine** Maine Public is seeking a full\-time Digital Audience and News Producer to join our newsroom in downtown Portland, Maine! With an emphasis on photos, video, audio, polls, and infographics, the person in this role helps deliver compelling and high\-impact news across multiple platforms, including for mainepublic.org, social media, and newsletters. Involving editorial and technical work, the Digital Audience and News Producer writes original news content, creates and produces interactive content, and supports colleagues by editing and preparing their work for digital platforms. While remaining focused on the audience experience, this position reviews platform usage and analytics regularly and uses those metrics to improve audience engagement and size. With NPR, PBS, and other partners we strive to be the standard bearer for high\-integrity journalism and programming. Candidates must be comfortable working in a deadline\-driven and fast\-paced environment.
