The RoleThe Physical Therapist provides family training and counseling to caregivers in a child's naturalenvironment, including childcare, home, appointments, community settings, and playgroups. Thisrole includes service coordination, evaluation and assessment, IFSP development, ongoingassessment, and delivery of Early Intervention services requiring qualified personnel. The PhysicalTherapist monitors and supports the child and family in accessing needed medical, social,educational, developmental, and therapeutic services, including support in land\- and water\-basedsettings when appropriate. The incumbent participates in multidisciplinary evaluations and providesdocumentation of interventions consistent with Early Intervention Regulations. The PhysicalTherapist reports directly to the Director.
