**Overview** ------------ The Email Editing team owns the creative heart of Mailchimp: the editors millions of customers use to design, personalize, and publish email campaigns that reach hundreds of millions of inboxes. Our work spans the full stack, and then some: * A **modern, interactive email editor** — a rich React \+ TypeScript editing experience where customers visually compose, style, and preview their campaigns. * **Backend services** that validate content, apply brand styling, generate previews, and render customer designs into HTML that displays correctly across notoriously inconsistent email clients. * A **large\-scale web application** serving millions of users, where we modernize long\-lived product surfaces while keeping them reliable for the customers who depend on them every day. * **AI\-powered editing** — services that let customers edit their emails in natural language: "make the header blue and add a Summer Sale banner."
