Description: **Job Summary:** *The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Company’s accounting and, with an emphasis on accurate financial records, job costing, account reconciliations, and month\-end close. This position works reports to the Controller and works closely Operations teams to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and properly reflected by project and company.* **Duties/Responsibilities:** * Perform key components of the monthly and year\-end close process. * Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments. * Prepare monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations. * Research and resolve accounting discrepancies. * Maintain accurate general ledger activity and supporting documentation. * Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations. * Support cash management and bank reconciliations. * Maintain fixed asset schedules and related accounting. * Monitor project costs and ensure expenses are accurately recorded to the appropriate project and cost code. * Review job cost activity for accuracy and investigate discrepancies. * Partner with Project Managers and Operations to resolve job\-costing and financial q...
