We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a busy Cardiology group! The RN will assist the physicians with managing care for cardiology patients. A detailed\-oriented, dependable, organized nurse who can do multitask and has demonstrated a consistent work history will be the candidate chosen for the job. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * EKG's, holter monitor placement * Assisting in pacemaker monitoring * Assisting with stress test monitoring * Educating patients and families * Referrals and preauthorization * Medication management. **QUALIFICATIONS:** * A current Louisiana RN license is required for this position. Clinical experience or Cardiology experience preferred but not required. * The office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. A hospital\-wide and a detailed departmental orientation are offered upon hire. There is also an excellent benefit package provided.
