Family Services Specialists in the Child Care and Development Unit determine eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy program and will be required to explain eligibility; elicit information, research and verify information provided by customers by contacting landlords, employers, and others to confirm citizenship, residency, household composition, earnings, and projected household expenses, compute income and evaluate other factors impacting benefits; make determinations according to timeframes and program regulations. Must type a minimum of 35 wpm accurately. A typing certificate issued within the last twelve (12\) months must accompany you at your interview and verify your net typing speed of at least 35 wpm in a five\-minute test.
