**Schedule** * Saturday and Sunday * 7:00 AM \- 7:00 PM * 0\.6 FTE * Paid as a 36\-hour work week **Weekend Baylor Program Benefits** * Earn pay equivalent to a 36\-hour full\-time position while working two 12\-hour weekend shifts. * Eligible to take up to **four weekends off per year** using accrued Paid Time Off (PTO). * Consistent schedule with weekdays available for personal time, family commitments, education, or additional opportunities. **Position Summary** The Medical/Surgical Department Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing comprehensive, goal\-oriented care to patients ranging from infant through geriatric populations, as directed by physician orders. Responsibilities include age\-appropriate patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, care planning, implementation of interventions, evaluation of treatment outcomes, and ongoing patient monitoring. The RN provides both physical and psychological support to patients and their families, including education with a focus on discharge planning throughout the hospitalization.
