**Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises Employment Services** **ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY** **SUMMARY:** Under general direction of and in conjunction with the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for the management of the overall hotel operations, including all hotel\-related food and beverage outlets, guest rooms, and facilities. **SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is only a small sampling of work variety):** * Ensures efficient operation and profitability. Responsible for the financial performance of the area(s) assigned. * Forecasts weekly, monthly, and annual financial activity. Prepares annual budgets for area(s) assigned. Analyzes P\&L results against budget and forecast, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, and flow\-through, and recommends actions to improve performance. * Lead and/or support the quality assurance processes, audits and internal inspection programs.
