**JOB posting – New Jersey** **JOB TITLE:**Service Manager**DEPARTMENT****:**Service**REPORTS TO:**General Manager **POSITION PURPOSE:** The Service Manager is responsible to promote the department service and repair sales, managing team member daily workloads, project scheduling and supervision of all sites daily service operations, including service administration and purchasing. The Service Manager interacts with all vendors and sub\-contractors utilized during regular business activity and continuously seeks to improve purchasing power and sell through margins.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Schedule and coordinate the activities of all service crew members * Develop the service team skillsets, develop training programs and provide direct hands\-on mentoring when required * Monitors team performance, production, efficiency and quality metrics to ensure that goals are met and supporting overall team quality and training efforts * Ensures adherence to departmental and/or operations policies, procedures and practices **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:** Direct supervision of service technicians, service administration staff, yard and general labor.
