**Controller** Simple Mining · Remote (Hybrid preferred) · Full\-time **About Simple Mining** Simple Mining is a fast\-growing Bitcoin mining hosting company based in Iowa. We operate 10 sites, and most of our business comes from hosting and selling mining machines for our clients, which gives us a stable, recurring model in a fast\-moving industry. We’re growing quickly and adding key leaders across the company, so there’s real room for people to grow here. **The Role** We’re hiring a hands\-on Controller to own day\-to\-day accounting and help build a scalable finance function. You’ll report to our Head of Finance and work closely with him. Your first priorities will be leading the month\-end close, shortening close, and helping roll out our NetSuite implementation, which goes live January 2027\. This is a build\-and\-improve role, not a maintain\-the\-status\-quo role. **What You’ll Do** * Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements * Own the close end to end, including balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accuracy * Help lead the NetSuite implementation, then own the system and chart of accounts * Manage external audit fieldwork and the audit pro...
