As a Senior Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of United Mechanical’s financial records, with a primary focus on payroll accounting, general ledger reconciliations, and labor cost reporting. In this role, you'll independently manage complex accounting activities, investigate discrepancies, strengthen internal controls, and support timely financial reporting. Working closely with Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, and Operations, you'll connect financial information across departments and improve processes that support the company’s financial performance. **What You'll Do** * Own Payroll Accounting \& Reconciliations: Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts for wages, payroll taxes, benefits, deductions, union contributions, and payroll liabilities.
