Overview: UnityPoint Health\- St. Luke's Part\-time, Days/Evenings 8\-hr shifts Responsible for all aspects of Pharmaceutical care provided at the Hospital: Evaluates medication orders at verification to promote rational cost effective drug therapy, Supervises accurate dispensing of medications to positively impact patient outcome, supervises technical staff to assure safe and accurate completion of Unit Dose and IV admixture services, supervises medication storage areas both within and outside pharmacy to assure drug safety and security, Provides patient education about new drugs and potential adverse reactions to drugs as requested, sssists with medication reconciliation activities, Applies all Pharmacy related laws and required documentation. Documents interventions in appropriate system. Also provides clinical services including but not limited to: renal dosing program, kinetic \& dosing service, anticoagulation monitoring and dosing service.
