Job Description: **LOGISTICS SUPPORT SUPERVISOR II** **Support Department** **Building 956, Eglin AFB** **Open Position Request Number: R\-AE\-26** **CLASSIFICATION:** Logistics Support Supervisor II **GRADE:** Exempt; Regular Full\-time **LOCATION:** Building 956 / Eglin AFB, FL – On Site **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** This position is responsible for performing and overseeing all work accomplished within the Logistics Section. Primary duties include the following. Evaluating and enforcing established procedures for the warehouse, records management, Hazmat, shipping and receiving, and turn\-in sections. Setting and enforcing performance standards; identifying and correcting substandard performance. Conducting annual employee performance appraisals. Authoring or reviewing operating procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. Tracking company training compliance and coordinating continued training for each section as required. Assigning representatives for VCO, Precious Metals, Reusable Containers, and Site Safety. Assisting with the determination of property classifications (shop stock, tracked material, tagged items, tools, COMSEC, and TMDE). Supporting the ongoing development and im...
