Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Lead a team of Material Control Supervisors across all sites to deliver and control all material being utilized in the production and assembly of trailers and chassis products. * Establish and implement plans for material presentation, delivery, and management of material from receipts to shipments. * Work cross functionally with Supply Chain team and Suppliers to implement Kanbans and lean methods to manage material from supplier site to assembly. * Establish and implement plans for storage of material within each site utilizing lean principles. * Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control. * Prepares customer delivery reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and uses information to proactively communicate potential late deliveries. * Establishes and supervises production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules. * Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations to ensure 100%...
