**General Accountant \- On Site** **Full job description** Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts, including investment accounts, and maintain fixed asset records Prepare and post adjusting journal entries for accruals and cash\-basis financial statements Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to keep balances current and accurate Process monthly bill payments and coordinate check printing and issuance Review QuickBooks entries to help ensure accuracy of general ledger postings Assist in preparing monthly financial statements on both cash and accrual bases according to schedule Prepare year\-end 1099 forms for filing **General Description of the Position's Function and Purpose** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and organized General Accountant / AR to join our team.
