**POSITION INFORMATION** DGL is looking for an experience, well\-rounded civil/structural engineer to enhance the qualifications of our rapidly expanding Development Division. As a multi\-disciplinary engineering and survey firm, success in this position will require the ability to coordinate all aspects of a project beyond the structural discipline. * Reports to Facility/Site Development Lead Engineer * Full\-time, Exempt * 10\+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferred **PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ability to act as engineer of record in responsible charge of structural projects, as required. * Perform and oversee structural design and plan production. Work closely with and instruct staff engineers and CAD technicians to prepare drawings and specifications in accordance with project requirements. * Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain communications, and expectations, with clients during project initiation, design, and construction phases. * Coordinate with outside engineers and architects on project requirements. * Review shop drawings, RFIs, and respond to other construction questions. * Encouraged to provide input and collaborate on impl...
