Senior Structural Engineer Kanner Engineering LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Lakewood, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5–10 years of structural engineering experience, preferable hold an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, and be comfortable working on a wide variety of building projects. This position involves both structural design and significant field site visit work, including evaluating existing structures, identifying structural issues, and developing practical repair or reinforcement solutions. Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis and design for new and existing buildings. Conduct regular site visits and field investigations to evaluate existing structural conditions. Assess damaged, deteriorated, modified, or deficient structural components. Develop practical structural repair, reinforcement, and modification solutions based on field conditions.
