**Position summary** The Senior Accountant – Tax \& Assurance will provide accounting, tax compliance, tax planning, bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, accounting, attest, and assurance services to a diverse client base. The firm is looking for someone with public accounting experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent client\-service skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines. The position also involves working directly with firm leadership, developing client relationships, and helping develop junior staff. **Key responsibilities** Accounting \& Advisory Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Perform bank and account reconciliations. Analyze financial information, trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare management reports and communicate financial results. Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial decisions. Ensure compliance with GAAP. Recommend and implement process improvements.
