**Job Overview** **MUST HAVE HOSPICE EXPERIENCE and have an RN License.** The DPS is responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services. The DPS establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total agency and philosophy. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES** Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical agency personnel. Coordinates and assists the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Leads Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meeting. Assists Clinical Managers with oversight of clinical teams. Processes EMR workflow timely. Participates in the administrative on\-call rotation. Assists the Administrator in the administration of the agency's budget. Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume that could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses.
