### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 * Length: 4 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring a Step Down RN for a night shift position requiring compact RN licensure and Epic charting experience in a Level II Trauma Center. ### **Details** * Step Down/PCU unit in a short\-term acute care hospital with 379 staffed beds * Level II Trauma Center setting * Night shift schedule, 3x12\-hour shifts (19:00\-07:00\) * Patient ratio of 1:4 * Floating between units required * Every other weekend required * No on\-call responsibilities * 48\-hour work weeks approved * Uses Epic EMR (required) ### **Requirements** * Active TX or Compact RN license required in hand at submission * BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required * Minimum 1 year of recent experience required * Epic EMR experience required * Experience with cardiac telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, and telemetry monitoring required * Respiratory skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube care, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care * IV therapy skills including central line, peripheral line, and PICC line management, blood product admin...
